MANALAPAN LEAF RECYCLING

Leaf Collection - Pursuant to Township ordinance #198-18 – 198-23, all leaves must be placed in biodegradable paper bags.  Leaves placed in plastic bags will not be picked up from curb area or accepted at the Public Works yard.

Leaf collection this fall will be on every Monday in November and December.

These bags can be purchased at the Public Works Department on Mondays – Fridays from  9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The bags are sold in bundles of 5 for a cost of $2.00.

You can also purchase these bags from local retailers.

NO leaves will be collected that are not in these biodegradable bags.

Bagged leaves containing twigs, grass, brush, weeds or other debris will not be collected.

Please place bagged leaves at the curb, not in the street, on the first day of each scheduled collection to insure you will not miss any of the collections.  The exact day of leaf collection is impossible to determine.

Leaves in biodegradable bags can be brought to the Public Works yard throughout the year.
